Accessibility
Last updated August 26, 2026
We want anyone to be able to look at our work and book us, whatever device or assistive software they use. This page sets out what we have done, what we know is still missing, and how to tell us if something gets in your way.
The standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 at Level AA, the standard most commonly referenced for websites in the United States.
We are not claiming we have met it in full. We have not had an independent audit, and saying otherwise would be a claim we cannot stand behind. What we can tell you is exactly what we have done.
What we have done
- Every image carries descriptive alternative text, so screen readers can describe them
- All animation, including the cursor effects and page transitions, stops for anyone whose device is set to reduce motion
- The site can be navigated by keyboard alone, and the focused element is always visibly outlined
- Form fields have properly associated labels, so assistive software announces what each one is for
- Headings follow a logical order on every page, so screen reader users can skim by structure
- Text and background colours were measured for contrast rather than picked by eye
- The page language is declared, so screen readers use the right pronunciation
- A skip link lets keyboard users jump straight past the navigation to the main content
What is still outstanding
Listing these is more useful than pretending they are not there.
- Our video does not yet have captions. It contains no speech or narration, but captions describing the visuals are still worth adding and we intend to.
- We have not commissioned an independent accessibility audit. The work above was done and checked by our developer.
Booking without using the website
If any part of the booking process is difficult for you, you do not have to use it. Call or text (323) 899-8856 or email pbsweetmoments@gmail.com and Lorraine will take your booking directly. Same prices, same availability.
Telling us about a problem
If something here does not work with your screen reader, keyboard, magnifier or any other tool, we would rather know than not. Tell us what page you were on and what happened, and we will look at it.
Email pbsweetmoments@gmail.com or call (323) 899-8856. It reaches Lorraine, who owns the business, not a support queue.
Accessibility at your event
This page is about the website, but the booth matters too. We can set up at a height that works for seated guests, and we keep clear access around the booth rather than boxing it in. If someone at your event has a specific requirement, tell us beforehand and we will plan the setup around it.
